26 Mile London Trek for Alzheimers
The team at Taylor Davis Accountants will be walking the "full marathon distance" London 26 mile trek in aid of the Alzheimer's Society, a major charity working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
The team at Taylor Davis has seen the devastation that Alzheimers can bring to both it's victims and the family and friends around them. Susan Bloomfield, Judy and Adele's sister suffered from a very aggresive form of Alzheimers for a number of years, sadly losing her fight in December 2023. This challenge is dedicated to Susan and all other sufferers of Alzheimers and Dementia in general.
The walk begins early Saturday 17 May 2025 in Larkhall Park. We then head north west through Battersea, up and around Belgravia, back into Westminster and north east to Lincoln's Field. From there we head north west again, round Regent's Park and over to Camden. The course drops south east as far as Spitalfields, the City, Tower Bridge and then along the south bank all the way back to Larkhall Park. We expect that this will probably take somewhere between 10 to 12 hours. Afterwards, we hope to have enough energy to walk to a pub.
