We Did the London MoonWalk

The walk started at 11:30PM on Saturday evening, the 11 May and the 26.2 mile route (our own calculations put the the distance at more than 28.1 miles) took more than 9 hours of solid walking through the night, dawn and into Sunday morning to complete.

We walked past the
Millenium Wheel which was lit up in pink for the event, and onto Tate Modern, the Royal Hind and then over Tower Bridge. We walked past the Tower of London and through the City of London onto St. Pauls Cathedral. From there we went onto the Victoria Embankment, along to Westminster and onto St. James Park and past Buckingham Palace (I think the queen was in bed at the time).

We walked onto Hyde Park Corner and then all the way around Hyde Park (thats a big park you know), past The Albert Hall and onto Harrods. From there we walked past the Natural History Museum and all the way west to Earls Court. Then back past Sloane Square and back to the finish line via Hyde Park Corner and Battersea Park again. To say we were a little bit tired would be a real under statement but we did it. There were times when we thought it was impossible.
